Assistive Listening Device Contract

ADCO Medical Suppliers LLC is the Department of Veterans Affairs' preferred supplier of assistive listening devices. The products on this page are available in ROES through the national ALD contract (contract no. 36C79123D0005).

Federal procurement involves multiple contract pathways depending on agency type and purpose. The Assistive Listening Device (ALD) Contract is one such pathway that federal buyers use when accessible audio solutions are required in facilities, classrooms, waiting areas, and public spaces that must meet accessibility standards.

Products included under this contract are specifically focused on assistive listening, notification systems, and communication access technology. This page brings together the collections available under the ALD Contract so you can quickly locate the appropriate category for your needs. If you are unsure whether this contract is the right fit for your purchase, ADCO’s team can help confirm the appropriate procurement route.

How Procurement Works Under the Assistive Listening Device Contract

Answers to common questions about purchasing, compliance, and workflow when ordering through ADCO under the ALD Contract.

Products under this contract are ordered directly through the VA’s Remote Order Entry System (ROES). We supply products to the VA warehouses for national distribution to meet the ongoing needs of patients living with hearing loss and tinnitus.

Assistive devices can be difficult to navigate, and they are often prescribed based on each patient's unique needs. As such, we strongly discourage ordering products based on familiarity and instead consider all available options. Our team is readily available to discuss the products available on contract to help you improve your patients’ outcomes in ALD care.

Yes! Our team frequently provides both on-site and virtual training on all assistive listening devices under this contract. We also provide demonstration kits for some categories, allowing you to keep contracted products on site and giving your patient the option to weigh in on the product(s) being prescribed. We are continuously developing new online resources in collaboration with our manufacturing partners to provide the most comprehensive information for you and your teams. If you would like to schedule a training, please contact us at pros@adcopros.com

Orders under the ALD contract are exclusively placed through the VA’s Remote Order Entry System (ROES). ROES is the front end of the Denver Acquisition & Logistics Center's (DALC) order fulfillment production system. ROES is used by VA and Department of Defense clinicians to place orders for certain types of medical products and services that are maintained under contract by the DALC, including assistive listening devices. The ROES application and database are tailored for efficient ordering of the specified devices and other items available from the DALC, and for tracking them upon issue to an individual patient when appropriate. However, there is limited information available in the ROES system, and we strongly recommend that you locate the DLC name and part number for any new items you wish to purchase in advance.

Although all orders are placed through ROES, all items on this contract are listed here on this webpage to allow you to see larger product photos, detailed descriptions, specifications, and download product documentation. We understand the limitations of ROES and are happy to provide you with any product links or information you may need. Please contact us at pros@adcopros.com or call 800-726-0851 for additional information.

Access must be obtained internally through the VA. As contractors, we have no authority over access to the Remote Order Entry System. DoD audiologists and associated procurement staff can use their DoD Common Access Card (CAC) to access ROES. For information, contact the DALC Customer Service Section at 303-273-6200 or by email at dalc.css@va.gov.
